After alot of trouble shooting having the carb off twice messin with the points and the timing checking the coil rewiring the kill switch adjusting the valves and all the little stuff in between i got the 70 to run tonight, the manual helped ,but alot of my help came from jenndnn3 threw private messages, the timing was off on the bike and the points were outta spec i got it running but i didnt have a carb on it but i sprayed some starter fluid down into the chamber and tryed to start it and it kick over then died so the second time i got ready and had the starter fluid in 1 hand and the pull start in the other sprayed a little into the chamber pulled it bike fired i kept shooting short burts of starter fluid into the chamber and it stayed running it woulda kept it running longer but since im missing the insepection cover it started to shoot some oil out :D

Thanks to everyone that helped and special thanks to jenndnn3

Glad you finally got it, do you still hate Honda's?? :DI had another honda before this that i restored it was a xr70 another project i did for my kid and i had problems with that broke my hump redoing the bike turned out awesome and he only rode it like 5 times crashed all 5 times he got on it and got scared of it so i sold it lol.

I still cant get the bolts loose from the head for the exhaust i tryed they started to strip so i shot um down with some penetrating oil still no dice i didnt wanan force um cause i figured theyd snap off like the inspection cover did .

Heres the xr70 i did for him

Im gonna have to do something cause the inser tin the rear muffler the bolts rotted and it fell out so i tapped new holes and made a gasket to try to seal it but its very loud.

I dunno if its leaking or its so loud cause on the inside i cut the inserts end off cause it was all cloged up!
