Hi there, I'm from Argentina (South America), I got a couple of years ago a 1981 ATC 110 (or something that looked like it once was an ATC) and spent a little fortune to get it as much as possible to oem condition. I have changed a LOT of pieces replacing them with new or NOS pieces when possible or just by good condition pieces found in ebay. I have sanded and powder coated the frame, fuel tank, fork, rims, hubs, crankcase covers, I also sanded and chrome all other metallic parts including the rear wheel axle, replaced all the bolts and nuts by stainless one, new Duro tyres, new aluminium handlebar, etc, etc. I'm just finishing the electric connections, and some other minor details, but I haven't yet run it.
So I find this forum so interesting and I hope to share information with others "ATC lovers" members.

Thanks!
Regarding the moving of your daughter to Argentina, it all depends on the purpose of her stay. If she is looking for amazing landscapes with mountains, deep blue lakes, forest, plenty of wildlife, outdoor activities (trekking, climbing, skiing, boating, etc) she might go to Patagonia. If she need to work have in mind that Patagonia´s most relevant commercial activity is tourism and an English native speaker would be welcome. Patagonia's most important cities are: San Carlos de Bariloche, Ushuaia, Villa la Angostura, San Martin de los Andes, El Calafate. On the other hand if she is looking for a active cultural life city of Buenos Aires (Argentina capital city) is probably one of the most important cultural heaven in Latam full of theaters, tango shows, music festivals, concerts, public libraries, museums, architectural works, cafe concert, etc. Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city crowded of foreign people. The northwest part of the country has amazing landscapes too with high mountains (Aconcagua with its 6962 meters is the highest mountain in Americas) and green valleys, rich in remnants of native peoples that use to live there before Spanish conquest. Salta, Mendoza, Tucuman, are the bigger cities in Argentina northwest.
