i guess i will post this here .picked up a 250x the other day because i wanted the 350x engine that was with it .have no use for the rest of the roller . planned on selling the parts . noticed that the front a-arms are about 2 inches longer than the stock ones that were on the 91 250x i had . " will post pics " . also the rear swing arm is about 1 1/2 1 3/4 shorter than the stock one off an 87 250x . and the front shocks seem to be longer . guess i need to know if they are aftermerket or from another machine . any help would be great thanks.

All the parts you showed are factory parts. the blue shock looks like a stock trx R shocks, the A arms look like 400ex, and the swingarm looks like a stock 250x unit.
I'm no expert with stock 250x parts since we always threw them out but I bet you might of had a 350x swingarm. They are longer then the 250x swingarm but only 3/4'' or so.

so 400ex a arms fit a 250x ? . i plan on selling the set up . so i guess i should sell the front shocks with the a arms and tie rods all together .

The arms are wider then stock so the tie rods wont fit if you are going back to stock. Normally it is best to keep a set of tie rods with the arms they fit.
