Pictures speak for themselves. 86/87 KXT owners, pay close attention to the closeup of the right side (clutch side) of the engine. notice anything "interesting" ??? :D :D

Some trikes indeed live miserable lives.

I agree Jeb,he is very crude with it.Look how he just throws that exhaust on thr ground,no taking the time to put it under a towel or something. If I had the money I'd buy her.Poor tecate :( .

Sorry Jeb I don't know T3's well. what's wrong with the sidecover?

Jeb

Its not the side cover. but it does look weird to me for some reason. like it might have been broken up by the kick lever. probably just the poor quality picture.

something else is funny about it.... :-D

I like how he says
Over $5,000 invested in this bike

When? Maybe if you include its price new and the cost of the gas and oil.

Yeah Jeb, I think I see what your talking about. The cover looks like it has a hole in it, it's prollay just the camera playin jokes. Its scuffed up pretty bad by the looks of it.

if you put 2 and 2 together it looks like maybe the engine (or atleast clutch cover) were of a KX, and someone dumped it on that side on the road?

You guys might be seeing the trans oil level window & mistaking it for a hole in the side cover. The window appears to be more prominent because of the silver colored side case instead of the usual black motor. If you're referring to the spot on the "K" on the clutch cover, that would be impossible for the kickstart lever to hit, since that engine kickstarts rearwards.

Is there a k&n air filter sticking out of the side of the motor? :D

Its a crime to treat a Tecate the way he treats that trike!!! I think I'm going to form an organization. T.P.S. = Tecate Protection Service :-D

What's so funny about it to me is the rear shock. Look where it's at and look at the linkage.

He's got the shock where the linkage strut should be! :D I can't imagine what dirtbike shock could fit like that. most of them are longer than the KXT shock. No wonder it sets so high in the back.

I dont know if theres anything wrong with the case. as I said before it looks a little funny to me up by where the kickstart shaft comes out. that could be pic quality.

"over $5000 invested"
I think he ment to say that it NEEDS over $5000 invested. And what's up with the fenders? Were they trying for the stained glass window look  ?

Yeah they are air brushed, but by his 4 year old that just learned. I like it when people try to polish a turd, and pass it off as a diamond.
