ok so im stoked,,,,tell me what i will be looking for in common issues with the 83 185s ...i was just cruzing craigslist and found a motivated seller with a VERY well kept 185s from the looks of the pic's everything there! so tips on common mods and common issues are much welcomed! i will post a pic after i get it, it looks really good.

I love the little hard tales. Common issues, man. Check all the brakes, see that the levers, and foot pedal operate. Look for any moisture around the cylinder, that would be a sign of a leaky head gasket. Wiggle it side to side, see how the bearings are. For the most part, there really arent any "common" issues with those little guys. They are bullet proof. Just check the main wear items, bearnings, breaks, apperance, ect.
