Hello all! Im new to the site, but obviously not new to forums. The best info can be found at sites like this!

Im the owner of Westside Powersports, specializing in 90s Seadoos. I buy/sell/fix up and part them out. I know them inside and out so if anyone needs any help or parts...Im your guy.

Self gratuitous shot...

The reason I am here is I just picked up a 84 200es. I bought it specifically for pulling my beach cart/seadoo in and out of the water, so I needed reverse. I picked up a decent one for $500. The left fender is pretty bad, the racks are pretty rusty, but it fires up and idles perfect. The gears all feel smooth, hi-low-rev works great.

I will ask more specific questions in the appropriate area. Thanks ahead of time for all the help!!!

Seems like the only reason you're here is to promote liquid militia........

Cmon man, if you use forums like your post would suggest then you know people hate it when the board is used and abused to promote your own business. I feel dirty now, thanks

LOL Just FYI...I have no affiliation with Liquid Militia other then promoting them everywhere I can. They are a ma and pa shop giving SO much back to watersports its rediculous.

If you would have checked my profile you would see I own Westside Powersports. And as you can also see its not in my signature.

So where is a good place to post questions to get answered?? I need to know what is the best carb kit to buy. In the jetski world the aftermarket kits are total junk. Does Kiehein make a kit still for this carb?

welcome to the boards, just search around for the carb kit questions.

Forget the kits. Most if all, are inferior. What do your techs suggest you use? Myself, Berrymans and a few o-rings. Factory jets are superior in every way and the taper of the jet needle on the stock setup, unless you're modding the top end of the 200, work as good as its' going to get.

Ya mean you're paying those guys and they won't spend a little time on YOUR stuff ? ? ? Crazy! LOL

Welcome to the forum.

Are genuine kits available or? I agree for carbs there no replacement for OEM parts. Id like to spend $50 and know its as good as it can be.

You can spend $50 on these ATC carbs and they will still run like crap. The main reason i seem to see is the slide is so worn along with the bore that it rides in that it just gets sloppy and the fuel/air mix is never totally right. You can buy a complete new carb for like $30 on ebay, i know a lot of people talk down the ebay carb's but i have used many of them and they have always been great. $30 for a kit or $30 for a new carb, bolt it on and hook it up and go, tweak the mixture screw at the most.

Minnetonka4me (http://www.3wheelerworld.com/member.php/36757-Minnetonka4me), Welcome to the forums.
You will want to read the forum rules about signatures and how big they can be.

I will check back later today to check on it.

I would assume my signature is legit, it wont allow it to display if it wasnt. LOL I just measured it and its within the 3.5" rule too. The site seems to be blowing up my pictures...my signature is much smaller on other sites. If it offends everyone I'll take it down its not like I expect to find alot of business in a wheeler forum, its the same signature I have on all the forums I am a member of.

I just really needed to know the best way to deal with the carb and have received some great replies already. In other words...you wont see my signature all over the site.

BTW just browsing around has just fueled my fire to find one of those rare old 2 stroke "r" trikes. Man those 500 conversions must be SICK!!!

Welcome to the boards. I have a full set of decent fenders for your trike if you are interested.

This is a die-hard set of trikers here. I would double check to make sure the signature meets requirements as Howdy was not just making a suggestion.

Post some pics of your ATC.

LOL you arent kidding. I've never had the siggie lashback that I have had here. All I wanted was a little info on my turdtrike and started a chit storm.

BTW I just measured your signature...you are dangerously close too.

I really just need a left fender. Im also interested in a non bent light cage, and a storage lid.

Here she is!!

Its not a question of offense to other members. It is just a general forum rule that is enforced here on the signature size. Generally it was implemented to control picture size as it became a problem back in the day. I would rather be looking at a big picture of a trike than a list of parts for sale in your jet-ski business. We have enough google ads as it is.
We have members that have been here for years, that started 3 wheeling businesses on this forum, or became integral people or business people on this site over years of hard work, and they do not expect any special treatment to have a giant signature to promote their business for 3 wheeler parts and services. If they respect the rule, than we would expect new guys to repsect the rule as well. I am in agreement with the administration as well, that your signature is too large especially since it is all a business promotion, and nothing remotely to do with 3 wheelers.

It is nothing personal, and your reply above I don't feel is appropriate either. You will find that this particular forum operates quite differently than most. I would feel odd, and even expect lashback if I went to a Corvette forum and had a giant signature pimping my business of selling guitars. Many websites have explicit rules against linking outside business to signatures without becoming a forum sponsor. And while there is no rule here that specifically falls in line of that nature, the least you could do is respect the size limitation that is enforced.

As far as your carb question, I don't know if they offer it for your model, but I have had good luck with MOOSE carb kits.

From my experience the forums automatically regulate how many pictures, what sizes, how many lines, etc. Its a matter of opinion what is "OK" in a signature. If I was just posting all over the place in an effort to spam my info I would understand, but I have posted here, and one post in the big red group which looked like where I'd find my info but could not.

I was introducing myself in the introduction thread, and i am a seadoo junkie. Im not just some guy flipping jetski parts that gives nothing back to the sport. I live and breathe them. And although I have liked and had fond memories of beating the holy hell out of my neighbors 110 back in the day, I do not see myself turning to wheelers as my main hobby or profession.

I can understand it would look a little weird for a wheeler guy to come on seadooforum.com with a list of parted out trikes, but people have all sorts of retarded stuff in their signatures. Personally I could care less. Just the nature of forums.

Mosh, I do thank you for the response on the carb kit. I just tore my machine down and my slide is nice and tight so I'd like to rebuild it the best I can so it doesnt have to come apart for another 5 years. I think soaking all those rusty mounting bolts with PB a couple days ago helped immensely.

Oh and why the heck is this forum not on Tapatalk?? Its sooo much easier to navigate forums using that on a tablet then using a computer.

Minnetonka4me, I seen you replied, but the last reply you deleted.
Going from the reply email:
FYI, We not going to censor your postings as long as it's within the forum rules. My intial reply above I did welcome you to the forums. And yes I did mention about the signature size. I wanted to bring it to your attention that is was Big. I was on short time ( was time to head to my job ) so I couldn't leave a longer posting. I wasn't trying to be mean or such. Anyone that knows me personally knows I try to be easy to get along with. This is why I mentioned the rules. I have to be fair about it and any and everyone I see with Big signatures will get a message from me or another Moderator. It's only fair to everyone.

On the carb: Mosh is 100% dead on. I use the Moose Carb kits when I need new carb parts. Alot of / Most OEM parts are discontinued.

Thank you...I appreciate the response. I will be ordering the Moose kit.

I dont know what the deal is...my post initially showed up, then 10mins later it wasnt showing up. Looked 30mins later and it wasnt there. So then Im pissed and spout off, and 5 mins later the post that wasnt showing up just miraculously shows back up. Thats why I deleted it.

I didnt come to start some dumb internet war, Im not going to post stupid posts all over the place just to get my signature seen...I just came to get guru opinions on some simple questions like the carb kit. Im a nobody newb just trying to get the right answer from the people that are in the know. I do it all the time for newbs in the PWC world.

Things are coming along! I just missed a parts machine yesterday for $350. He said he was parting it out so I asked for a bunch of it and of course he replies he decided to sell it whole to someone. Should have just pulled the trigger, pulled the parts I needed then put it back up for sale.

I have a new battery box and brake lever assembly on the way. I also ordered a Moose carb kit and a K&N filter. Im hoping to win a left fender and trunk lid today, and hoping this other guy takes an offer on a front rack and headlight cage. Only thing left to find is a solid skid plate at a decent price.

Ive found ALL the parts I need! I should have this thing all fixed up in the next month.

The racks, battery box, and headlight cage are getting blasted and powdercoated, replacement left fender and trunk lid, replacement bars, even a near mint gas tank! Also got a Moose Carb kit. Oh and the most important part...TYPE R badges! LOL

I want to thank the site owners for the AMAZING info in the historic info thread. I read almost all of it already! I am still trying to find it, but my dad has the honda identification guide that starts from the first cycle all the way to 89 if I remember correctly. It has all the build numbers, colors, etc. I used to look thru it all the time dreaming of owning all those 50s when I was a kid.
