Hello

Do you have a question? If you are looking for a cheaper one than I suggest you make a post saying "84 200x kick starter shaft assy needed" other wise contact seller pay his price or try to offer him $60.00 or so with shipping. They might be very hard to find.

If the ratchet gears are good then so is the price..

Due to the common problem with the early 200x kicker gears, they are quickly becoming the impossible to find part!

The OEM kit to fix the issue that includes the 2 gears and spring is $175 and I believe is now extinct..so if that is as good as it appears its a score!!

I'd take it apart before installing it to inspect and verify it's as good as the seller says..it's a lot of work and you don't want it wasted.

Hello Honda200xguy

I just looked at sellers profile, he has just 2 negatives in 12 months for 4339 sales. The complaints are a joke. I just read Dougspcs post and have faith in what he says. Based on this I suggest you quickly contact seller ask for photo of teeth on the gears if you are worried about it. If he is one of these guys that gets mad if you low ball him he might hang up and since they seem to be hard to find it may not be worth it to try and save a couple bucks. If you post an ad as I said you may or may not find one for less. If you don't the ebay one may be gone.

Hope this info helps.

i bought the gasket set from someone else since he didn't have one.
i bought the 2nd gear (the top one, was missing the whole assembly + spring) from him.
