Great race! Good to see Papa Canada, and wife make a splash in 2013 to the OTC season. Dirtbike...and now :TrikesOwnTrikes only, as Trevior was as pumped to see us run. Before the practice he was checking out the machines...as curious about the machines as much as watching us run his track. It was an Epic last place for me on the 200X...yes Epic. I battled with HRC Dave for 2motos on a real fun but tuff course. Moto1 I was on him like flies on stink only to grab the inside line once. I got the front tire in on him, just for 1sec coming out of the turn into the straight. Dave grabbed a thumb full and showed me how the 250R shuts the door. 4laps of roost via Dave wheel to wheel, side by side drifts around each corner...we were close. Moto2 the skies opened up and a slight drizzle turned to soaking rain. By heat 9 the track was getting sloppy but no standing water anywhere. Dave gave me pretty much the same race as moto1. This time it came with about 20lbs of mudd/roost just coating me. Coming into the last lap I could no long see out of my goggles. I peeled them off and held back just close enough to pass on a stall or miss turn. HRC Dave run a clean and fast last lap and covered my every attack at passing all day. Thanks Dave, you made that ride Epic for me as I pushed and rode as hard as I could to no avail. The battle for positions were front to back as everyone was charging. Shadd(moto1) and Bryan(moto2) split the winning position and put on a real race for the lead, with Kintore hot on their heals. WellsvillePro made it known he's on pace with a strong ride upon the 350X. Sr. and Jr battled with WellsvillePro to make the mid pack exciting...To me even if I did finish last on the smallest machine, It was one I will not forget. Dave's ablity to pull the straights was just enough to keep me at bay. I closed the gap on certian tech sections just enough to catch a glimps...of roost down the straight.:lol: It was good to knock off the cobb-webs and enjoy some real Goodtimes with a great group of racers. If your not on the gate....you're at your keyboard wishing you had an Epic Last place finish.

Great racing everyone! With video I finally got to see the other battles going on. Nothing like good battles throught the pack to make spectators happy. Great job by everyone.

Steve, the announcer guy with the mic was not Trevor. Trevor was the guy on the tractor and other equipment working his tail off who never gets to mingle with the racers. He has vowed to to shake some hands at the TV Land Harescranble coming up June 16. :naughty:
