Beaverdale Hillclimbs 2013

I will be hitting the hill on 4/27 for test and tune if anyone is interested in joining me that would be great. $20 for the day of climbing and run as many machines as you want. Great opp. to get your machine dialed in. There will be alot of pros there dialing in their sick nitro methane machines. I am planning on hitting as many as possible this year so if anyone wants to climb at any date let me know, I will join you. Cmon guys, who wants to climb?? been doing it for a few years now and last year was the first time anyone else tried it ... good luck at getting some more people to try it... I Will be Back on September 8th this year to run the hill..and defend my championship... Dont get too comfy holding onto my trophy David.:lol:

It would be great to have a bunch of guys trying the hill for the annual climb in Sept. Come one come all. Raffa holds the record of being the only trike to ever climb it and doing it at a little over 7 seconds. Hill has not been climbed by a stock length trike yet so someone has a shot at some bragging rights there. Ben and I both attempted it on stock length trikes last year and not saying it cant be done but will be pretty difficult. I may try it stock length again once I get a little more comfortable with the R. Shoot me your mailing address Raffa and I will mail your trophy to you. Great job once again man and best of luck to you defending your title this year.

Helped out on the hill yesterday to get it ready for this year. The Top was fixed up as well as the second breaker recut. Looks great!! Alot of hard work yesterday but was worth it. Test and tune on Saturday!!!! Free for spectators so come and check it out. May end up having some vertacross going on too!!

He got 5 times, at test & tune you got to hit the hill 5 times not 2.. So did are son..

My first run I stopped at the second breaker. Probably could have made it up but didnt want to chance it. The guys asked if I wanted them there for me anymore and I told them that I didnt think I needed help and I would make it over the top every other time. I messed up my first run or I would have made it then too. Got to dial my carb in more and I am ready for this coming Sunday for the first competition climb.

what is regular protocol for what tire to use?? i was so surprised to c the very low treaded tires u had on. i would think u would want something with a lot more bite and heavier lugs. i mean u made it so it worked obviously but just wondering.

Im just running ohtsus. Seemed to grab pretty good for me. By the end of the day it was loose enough that I probably could have ran paddles in certain spots but wouldnt have been good in others. I am running what alot of the quad guys recommended for me, because it is what they are running. The guy on these modded quads in the video Im about to post is running the same tire as me...just alot more power and experience,lol!

Another shot at the hill in the morning if anyone is looking for something to do tomorrow. Come climb or just spectate. Always a good time either way. Will have some sweet videos tomorrow night. I did some more work on my motor to see if I can get more top end out of it. We will see. I think I may have went a little to much, lol. It doesn't take much to change port timing just hope I didn't sacrifice too much bottom end.

Well Dave did good all day at Breaverdale.. Into the Dash for cash!!! At the top of the Hill she (the R) came a rolling down!!! The R is OK.. And so is Dave!!! Both will see Breaverdale in July.. I put up some Videos..

Ahhh, not that bad of a hill. The ones next to our house are bigger than these and they are coal hills too so are a bit different to climb than something like this. I do enjoy showing up built banshees though

The annual trike climb is coming up soon. Sept 8th. If anyone would like to come to our practice hill before the climb on Sunday you are welcome to come and tune your machine. We have room to put a few people up in our house and lots of room to set up camp also. The practice hill is a coal hill next to our house and people come from all around to tune their machines for Beaverdale Hillclimb. I was thinking of doing a cookout at the hillclimb as well. I know there will be a few guys from NYTRO and maybe a TPC or 2. Hoping some more show up to support the event. I am far from being a pro but will give as much advise as I can to help out.

Now Labor Day weekend, that Saturday, I'll be at coal hill in trevorton pa from 10am til around 5. Hill climbing and general
