I'm moving along at a slow pace on my sons 1980 110. Up until now it's gone pretty good. I found the screws to pull the main transmission case apart to be very stubborn. I finally got all but one out. The last one is stripped. Can't get any grip with impact driver bit.
How the heck do I manage this one???

If you have enough room you might be able to possibly tach weld a bolt on it so then you could unscrew it. Not sure that itcwill work but have been told it does. Or if you could get small visegrips on it to lock and turn it enough to get loose to rest by hand

If you know that the screw is useless you can weld a nut on the end. I don't you would like to risk hammering it out or drilling fit, so I usually just weld it. I doubt you have the space to use some vice grips lol

It's probably the worst one to strip. Very tight. All I can think to do is drill it out carefully.

no brainer, use a 1/4 drill bit and drill away. the head will come off as soon as you get to the shaft of the screw. split the case and remove the rest with a pair of vise grips.
