View Full Version : Help me identify a 3-wheeler from memory

Strange request here, I was in the shop last night and all of the sudden remembered a three wheeler that a friend of mine had. His dad bought it new and for the life of me, I cant remember who made it so I'll do my best to describe it and maybe someone can shed a little light on the thing. I'm thinking that the model year was somewhere around 1980-1983.

1. CVT transmission on the left side of the machine
2. Twist throttle
3. Burnt Orange textured fenders, front and rear :idea:
4. Platforms for foot rests.
5. Two stroke
6. Black frame.
7. ?????? I'm sure there is more... The seat was brown!

Just can't seem to find a picture of anything like it on the web and if given a million dollars to come up with the brand, I'd leave empty handed. :wondering

Does anybody remember such a machine?

Nope, unless they made a few different models. Though from my description, that is an excellent choice and does have some similarities.

The fenders were rounded over like a Honda.

Ya know, that air cleaner does look familiar, however.

Except for the color, it could have been a Polaris P3, but that a long shot....

I agree and if I remember correctly, the CVT cover looks VERY similar to that of the Polaris. It wasn't pointed like the Agro pictured above.

The one thing that I remember most, was the textured heavy duty plastics and in a burnt orange color.

I don't think polaris had a trike as early as 83. The orange fenders scream off brand to me. Maybe a heald?
