85 110 motor wint cut off

Hi,
I have a 85 Honda 110 and the black wire with white stripe soppose to be kill wire (control missing) when grounded but it don't work, even tried the wire at the CDI unit and it still wont kill the motor.
Any ideas?? Ive looked at wire diagram and it shows thw B/W wire goes from the kill switch to the CDI box.
Only other thing is second gear makes noise like something is loose, it runs good in second just makes a knocking noise only in second. All other gears are good. It engages in all gears good.
Anyone else experienced this?

Hello

Someone here will have a good idea but for now how are you grounding it at the CDI? Remove CDI plug and check continuity from end of wire to pin on CDI plug. Might just be a dirty or bad connection.

Can you make a video of the sound and put in on youtube then post the link here. Just did this with another persons problem and it was easy to tell what it was.
