There had to be..........

There had to be a special model for the 84 200x's, because BOTH of mine have blue seats (yes blue) and everyone says they had BLACK ones.....One of the 200x's i bought, was from the ORIGINAL owner, and said he bought it with a blue seat........Does anyone know if there was a special model?????

My oldest (one bought first) of the 2 has gold rims all the way around.....crazy huh??? and the other has aluminum.......and forks on the oldest one look to be 250R, but not sure of that.

and ive also seen atleast 10 on ebay in the past few months that were 84 with BLUE SEATS!!!!!!! someone shed some light!

dunno man I had an 84 and bought an 85 parts bike, 84 had a black seat, 85 had a blue one.... what color is the rear shock and the Honda wings on yours??

shock is RED, no decals....

Do your blue seats say 200X on the side? If they do, then they are the stock honda seat cover. If they are plain blue, then they are aftermarket. Double check the VIN numbers on the trikes. I have seen several trikes that are titled as different years than the model year. I think the shops that sold them originally screwed up.

The other thing that could have happened is that the seat cover got damanged prior to original sale, and the dealer replaced it.

both of the seats have 200x on them, and have honda on the back...VIN numbers are correct for it.

I just bought a 84 200X fer 400.00 and uhh it has a black seat and a red rear shock but it has maier fenders which are shot so whether or not it is oem dunno but the pics there indicate it as having a black one and red fenders that helps me out when I go to restore it my tank looks the same as the pics but I think somone put (team) under the winged honda sticker
