So my swing arm on my 83 225dx needs rebuilt badly, they it pretty much no bearings at all, so my question is how hard do you think it will be for me to rebuild it? I found the kit for 30 bucks so I'm probably gonna buy it tomorrow. Any help/advise will be greatly apriciated
Thanks Colton

Have you read about the process in your manual yet? That should give you a good inclination of how hard it will be.

Well I don't have a Manuel on me, I didn't know a Manuel showed u how to replace that kind of stuff or how its put together. Can anyone give me a link for that? I couldn't find any. Also had another question, what could happen to the swingarm if the bearings never got replaced and still got rode?

You sound a little unsure and it is most certainly a repair that calls for some skill......
Good luck!

I'm not worrying about the skill it will take since my brother will help alot (he's a mechanic you can work on just about everything :) ) I just want to know if it is going to be super hard to do, or like any special tools to do it.

I done them on my old 225 and they were a cake walk and I was only 16 at the time. No special tools needed, just basic stuff. The hardest part to me was reconnecting the drive shafts.
