Is it possible and worth it to snorkel an 81 atc 110. Because I would have to drill through the frame to run the snorkel up to the handle bars. Has anyone done this to their 110?

Ive never had a 110 but if you have the original intake it probably runs high just like all other three wheelers. I was thinking about doing this to my 200x auto because it was missing almost all of the intake pieces. I was going to run it right out of the carb :) haha. If you do do this I would say figure out something to keep from drilling that frame. Run it out the back maybe?

Maybe this will give you a little idea to think about

It mounts to the frame just a few inches above the rear tire.

But it is connected to the frame and runs forward towards the tank right? Like this...?

Yes, it's very similar to that. I'm gonna use 1 1/2 pvc pipe for the snorkel because the original hole is 1 1/4 wide. Is that enough or do I need to go bigger? And will I have to rejet?

If It is Similar to that then The intake is already high and pulls the air in right by the handlebars. If you snorkel I would run your snorkel off the back so you don't have to compromise the frame like the earlier post. (this is how I would do it... Just spit balling) Close the old port to the frame if it happens to suck water. Cut a hole in the air box 1 1/2 diameter. Use threaded pvc pipe and then wedge the air box between 2 pvc pipe nuts. Seal that with some type of silicon gel. Then it is up to you to build around the frame :). That size is fine. You wont have to rejet. It could change the air flow but it wont be significant so maybe a little tuning. What was your idea on how you were going to do this?

Just throw on some fatter tires.she'll float and you wont need.a snorkel.
