I finally came up with the money for my new rims and tires for the rear of my 85 250es. I have a 350x front end on it and was thinking of going with a skinnier set of rears to kinda match the front.

These are the rims:

Steel ITP 12x7 2+5

I want to go with the Kenda Executioner. But my options are 26x10-12 or 25x8-12. I think I will need spacers if I go with the 8" but will that be stupid? It kinda seems with my 8" front tire and 12" rears it just pushes forward when I turn... I would love to hear some advise.

This is how I want it to look minus the camo. I'll be able to get my new fenders in a couple weeks, but tires first!

I'll hafta go look.
I have a few and some feel like power steering and other are work to turn.
Nothin' soecial tire size wize, most likely a mix and match of stock stuff that will simply fit.
We personally need wide tires because of the mud around here.

Sorry that's not much help.

Have you tried the search key?
I've seen some pretty wile looking tires on the reds.

We only really play in the mud in the spring. Other than that its mountian climbing rocks and snow. I love the front end. Its soft and light. Its just I'm about to spend $300 on tires and rims this weekend and having a hard time deciding. I was just looking on you tube at the executioners and the 10" do look pretty skinny and bad a**.
I tried the search and didn't find any discussion on the turning. Its not horrible but I notice it.

yeah, I wonder if anyone's figured out the magic formula.

Some of mine Plow straight ahead and some turn with 2 fingers.
They sure look cool.

I may have to change over to aftermkt rims as a few of mine are either bent or rusted out.

so?
you think 12" has the most choices?
