Well since the New England ride post was getting just slightly crowded I thought I would start a seperate thread from this.
I would like to try and plan a weekend where us trikers can gather. I have personally never been up to Jericho, but I have heard it has come a long was in the past couple years.

Sounds like fun. I might like to try and get there one of these days.

I have never been there either. From talking with others, miles of trails were added however, fish & game are patrolling the area closely and do decibel checks on exhausts.

Its a pretty cool place, awesome scenery. Ive got several large trips planned already for riding this summer, so i dont know if ill be able to squeeze in another 3-4 day excursion. Gets kinda pricey! But sometimes bad weather or other factors can squash other trips and open up others.

Hey 250R...... Summer is tough for most of us and the fall we'll start riding again regularly. I'd suggest you come ride with us once before you put together an overnight trip. Most of us "i Think" would want to meet a guy before we camp out for a weekend.. I'd love to hit Jerico but my wife is preg and I'm going ot TF so anything more than day trips are a little tough

TecateDan: I would definitely love to meet up and ride with you guys sometime. I went on a couple rides with barracuda and DeePa a few years back. I should have a 200X for rough trails and mud soon! My R is built up for smooth RR beds and ice, she is not a big fan of water with a clamp on air filter.
IronBear: The fish and game doing decibal checks on exhausts could be an issue :/ I'm not sure about you guys, but my R has a little pro-circuit silencer on it that I am sure would not stand up. My only hope would be to take the sticker off and claim it is stock, it is registered as an antique in NH so perhaps they would show mercy (doubtful)...

I finally made it up to Jericho while the big trikefest was going on. Hit about 50% of the Jericho trails and the entire Success trail, I was impressed. The trails connect to the Maine ATV system and continue on to Colebrook state park to the north of Success Pond. I didn't feel like taking the trail back south of Success pond, so my by buddy Roland and I rode the dirt road back to the Success parking area- f*cking awesome- running both SX's full throttle in top gear for about 15 minutes, cut out about 1.5 hours of trails. Here are some of the highlights Gents:

Looking south by southwest on the Bobo Crow Trail...the worst trail but it had the best views

Success Pond. Boat ramp was rocky and it stays shallow for a while, but decent swimming

One of the best views that I came across, forget the name of the trail, but somewhere in Jericho.

That would be a good idea Dan, the ATV festival is that weekend. I was kind of torn between going to that and the NE Ride when the date for that finally dropped. Town basically goes crazy for a couple days. It's Fri & Sat (26/27) I'll be at a family reunion on Sat, so I might get up on Fri just to ride the streets of Berlin- The trails are going to be packed and it's only these two days where ALL the streets in the city are open to ATVs:naughty:
When I was up there when these pics were taken it was two days: Sun & Monday didn't see any green poe poe and very few other riders, kind of what I go for when I plan a ride:D

I see i'm a little late but i as well went up to Jericho ATV park for MUD fest. The trails there are amazing. we rode around 200 miles in a day and still had plenty to explore. heres a couple pictures to induce some more inspiration.

I am free the 5-6th of october to get away. Thought it was going ot be the 27-28th in oswego but hunting season started out there so it's possibly a no go to oswego. PLus I just can't do the 28th but I'm down for the 5-6 in Jerico.
