Hi ... i have to change my atc 250r 85 rear caliper.. and there none on ebay... i found out that 85 /89 caliper fit but bracket change from 85to 86-89 .. also found peaple fit yzf 250 front caliper on the 250r with little mod but it was all done on a 86

So what my option here? The yzf caliper need his own mounting bracket to fit the trike or I can use the 85 atc mounting bracket with the yzf caliper ?

If there only the yzf caliper with his mounting bracket that could possibly fit the trike.. can i modify my swingarm by welding a pin with a sleeve for the bracket?

I have an 86 ( same caliper, just different mounting system i believe ) I use a front caliper off of a YZ125, just needed to widen one hole in the OEM R mounting bracket about 1mm. ( i used a chainsaw file ) fits great, and works great. Better than my OEM one.

Those things are always on e-bay, how fast do you need it? I'm sure there will be more on there within a few days...

I looked into this further, and according to this post : http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/65919-250r-rear-brake-mod?p=483273#post483273

you need to have the 86 style mounting bracket. My mistake, it is still possible, but would require some work.

Good luck on your search! I looked for a decent rear caliper for quite a while... and settled on the 2002 yz 125.
