Hopefully you can now appreciate who I am. I show every facet of myself in this video. Some cowardly lion waiting moments but after I hit the double I felt like a dweeb. You may find some moments boring but if you wait a moment, it changes. Now, I need to ride this track every single day; I have had maybe 1 hour track time since 2012 this same time of year so I am rusty.
The videos should only improve from here and I am sorry for the boring other videos......

ive got to admit i skipped to the 11 minute mark but im glad i watched it nice to hear you trying to g yourself up! its crazy the way hitting doubles plays mind games with you when youve probably already gone much farther on a table top, well done & the track looks great.

I know how you feel about doubles! I am still a coward towards them and have never gotten the courage to attempt them, although I absolutely love table tops. I haven't ever been on a track with a 3wheeler though, just quads. My wife's uncle and cousin races motocross a lot and have a nice track in there back yard but I haven't gotten the courage to take my R on it yet. I haven't ever had a high performance trike before and am not comfortable enough to take one off the ground. lol

Don't beat yourself up too much Steve! I'm not much younger than you and have never done a tabletop, single, double, etc... I was never really comfortable jumping much of anything.... I'm sure my Cowardly Lion moment staring down my first double would be a laughing stock here on the board!! LOL! :beer
All said and done, you were able to talk yourself into doing it... not sure I could have talked myself into it.. I'm sure I would need someone else to help.. ;)
Glad to see you out riding and having some fun!

The biggest issue that I talked Rob Ray to about was the take off angle and speed. I was afraid I would go too high, freeze, and go over backwards or frontwards over the berm which is very close.
Thanks Jays, I'll get comfy with it all. Wish I started sooner but I have to work too much. Now it's time for me!!

Great Vid,nice X. Kinda like I was when starting. Amazing I did not get hurt worse over the years. Once you start getting
comfortable then you will try to jump a creek or something.

Power wise it is a 10.5:1 Wiseco in a crate motor with a mid to high cam/titanium keepers, but it surprisingly has allot of bottom still. Supertrapp pipe and a 52 pilot with a 160 main and no air box lid. I'd like to get a FCR carb but this motor seems to have an awesome range of power.
The suspension is 08 450F take off axle, hubs, swinger (which is about 3"s longer)and the linkage hooks up to a 250R NOS shock. It also uses a 450F caliper and master. The front end is a 86 250R setup with progressive springs and 20wt oil. I had to move the tank back an inch to clear the shrouds with the 250R fork tubes.

I watched that video and from 12:00 on I don't know if I was laughing tears of joy or my own fear:lol: That my friend is a real down to earth show it all video. That is probably how any one of us feel and still may at some point in our lives when looking at a gapped double. I can so relate to that feeling and say the same stuff to myself over and over as I practice and try and up the ante..... Be proud Steve:beer Your balls don;t shrink after 40. Your mind just files the priorities of life and responsibility vs. consequence in order. At 18....there are hardly any priorities other than beer, fast everything and girls. It is a bigger battle you have won to mentally overcome your minds priority list order and "OVERRIDE" it temporarily. I applaud you for posting that and letting people see what a real man feels. Thanks buddy... see ya at Tfest.... Andy:beer p.s "All dressed up for the prom and no one to dance with".... I am still lmao......

Dude, I'm so proud of you!!!!!!!!!! Doubles can be very intimidating. You're right, your balls do shrink at 40, I just turned 41 this month. I remember 12 years ago I recorded a practice at this track I loved and was showing it to my mom. They had a 70 foot table for 2 and I just couldn't bring myself to hit it. Even my mom who hates me jumping said"why aren't you hitting that one". The next week I bit the bullet and jumped it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being scared of hitting a jump. Just remember when you're trying something the first time, only try it when it feels right. I still get nervous sometimes on my own track if I don't ride for a while. You're doing great, and I can't wait to ride with you at TF!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was 18 minutes of convincing yourself to do the double and still pretty amusing.
