Just make sure you got helmets.... Cement is harder than skull....

When he starts by himself he will have one on. We were putting around about 5 mph on a dirt road.
I never wore one growing up in the 80's though. The kid with the orange shirt is now the bearded person taking him for a ride. I still don't wear one though. Even on the harley.

Nice to see kids riding for sure.
My daughter Loves it for sure.
It will change whatever we're going through in our daily lives.
Prepare to hear helmet stories however.
I stopped, took off my helmet, stepped off the trike,
slipped in dog*&^%,
fell backwards and dented the gas tank with my head on the way down.
I agree helmets aren't always the answer but even a bicycle helmet would've helped a lot.
Just have fun and be careful.

Would you put him in a canoe without a lifejacket just because a canoe goes slow? It's not the speed, it's the practice of being safe..
These "it's ok not to be safe, because _____" comments make my head hurt.
Don't get me wrong, it's awesome your little guy is digging it..I had 4 myself. Some enjoyed it more than others.
Boats, sleds, ATVs..I wanted my kids to grow up not even thinking..'should I put my helmet/lifejacket on? it's just a little spin..what can happen?'
Pass on your common sense...AND the torch, diesel. Then he'll really know you love him!!
