I'm looking for a set of replacement fenders for my 85 Tecate. There is an OEM set on EBay going for over 300.00.... Is that normal for the Tecate? I have not seen alot of the 85 fenders for sale lately, my other option is to buy a set of 86 Maires for around 200.00.

Do the 86 plastics fit the 85 without much trouble? Will my seat fit just the same?

Here's a link to the OEM 85's on auction:

If the 86 fenders work I may just go that route, anyone have pics of the newer fenders on their 85 T3?

Those even have the mud flaps. I bet they sell for quite a bit more than $300.

I, too would like to see some 2nd gen fenders on a 1st gen. It's hot and humid out I guess that's what I'll spend the afternoon Googling...

I don't have a real good eye for the 1st gen vs 2nd gen fenders but I think....

Around 1 1/2 hours left and the 85 fenders are at 304.00, I can't see paying that much for old fenders. Ill wait to see if anything else comes up,, there's always 86 fenders for less too.
