Motor mounts are slightly different - nothing that a few spacers won't fix. If you are putting the 350x in the 250x a spacer on the upper rear mount is required I think. Front lowers seemed to use different length spacers also. The biggest issue is the head pipe - a custom head pipe will need to be made as I recall. There used to be a company that sold a kit - Poweroll maybe ??? Those are the only issues as I recall. I put a 300ex motor in the 350x frame though - so no personal experience with the 350x in the 250x frame.

I only do the swap when I strech the frame.

Any aftermarket header will work if you shorten it to hug the motor like in my pics.

i like them swaps, when done right like they seem to look like a million bucks. I'd almost be interested in seeing a YZ250 motor in one, 2 stroke. Not sure why but that just seems like a fun idea. wanna build me one wayne?

Short answer..........no...lol
I did have a KX80 motor in a 200x back in the late 80s. I never totaly finished it but it was mounted in and the chain lined up.
