I know, I know....it's trikefest that weekend. I have a newborn and wont make it after all this year. I am going next year! Real bummed but I can get some riding in that saturday since my wife is taking my son and having a girls day with the other women in the family.

That being said, my brother and I are going to cedar creek motorsports park on the 22nd of June. Anyone else local who can't make it to trikefest want to go? Maybe to some other trails like little o in Baldwin? Post up and let me know if we can expect company!

Ohai ... I'm down for this! Just need to see if I have to clear anything else off my calendar...

I've never been there before.. what do they have?

At cedar creek? 3 separate loops, about an hour each if you go at our pace. Probably much longer for leisurely riding. There are a couple hills, and a small sand bowl that I know of, a rutted up easy climb in another spot. Completely free, just pull up and unload. As usual in MI, you need registration and spark arrestors but I have only seen the sheriff there once, so its on the rider to chance it. Personally, I tag all my machines to avoid an big ticket. Nothing really amazing, but the trails can get pretty technical for a trike. Bikes have no problem, but there are some good squeezes that can pucker you up if you come up on them too quick. I like to visit the tree that I hit last year sometimes :) it claimed my handle bars, clutch lever, left knuckles, left foot peg, movement in my left knee and ankle for about a week, and some of my old rear plastics. Still has a hole from the tip of my boot and a chunk of my fender stabbed into the ground in front of it haha. My back tire slipped over the edge of the berm during a slide and it carried me right into it. Awesome gopro video though haha
