Any equipment recommendations for this hard working sand trike. Also looking for headlight guard. :wondering

I used the all balls bearing kit. As far as special tools, i used a 3lb hammer and a long punch to knock the old ones out. Becareful not to hit the carrier.

soak them good with a good penetrating oil.then tap with the hammer and chisel in the same patern youd put lug nuts on.dont just hit one spot the whole time or you may bust your carrier.my last round with axle bearings ended with me buying a new carrier because the bearings were so bad i tapped on them and only the inner ring and ball bearings came out.i was stuck with the outer ring still in the carrier with no way to get it out.just take your time and youll be fine,they may come out fairly easy.

Pack 'em with grease before you install them.

I know they're sealed, but pop the seal off and pack 'em. The last batch of bearings I got had almost no grease:

Thanks everyone, great advice to start& finish my project. thought I saw double row barrings for factory carrier. Or am I dreaming.

Couldn't agree more JB, not sure what all balls is thinking with their grease...

And yes, you're dreaming. Double wide bearings do not fit the stock carrier.
