i finally tracked down a frame for my tecate that has paper work with it, so i can finally ride this thing on public land here in iowa. im going to get the new frame sand blasted and re powdercoated. not sure what color i want to go with yet.

i seen another build on here, a guy was running a white frame, which i liked. but i dont know.

or do i keep it all black like in my current frame.

something else i was wanting to do would be the kawasaki green on the frame, which would accent the color scheme i am running currently.

or if you guys have any suggestions, im open to those as well

current setup. click pics to make bigger

I am about to powder coat my 1st gen Tecate frame also. I was wondering what I should do but I have decided on Kawi green.

I did another guys in white and it did look nice.

I'm not a Tecate guy but if you found a red tank and stayed with white plastics with a red frame and light guard would look good. That's just my opinion. In the end its up to you.

i have a good red tank, and red rad guard....but honestly i think it looks like ass that way. i like the white/green combination. i found a nice candy green that would look pretty sweet also

I'm in the middle of a build now. I thought about painting the frame green but I wanted to use 2-part paint on the frame, not rattle can.

Since I had some black epoxy on the shelf, the frame is black. That's how I roll...

I think white with green plastics would be nice.

When I painted my first Toyota I was using white so we did my friends CR125 in white also with red plastics; Came out very nice!

Hello

I might do Kawi medium blue with the orig tank decals that have blue, possibly blue vinyl tape stripes on front and rear fenders and put seat back to kawi blue.
