What should I expect vs. the stock motor?
Is this serious or more like a mild upgrade?
Thanx

i got the 310 with pump gas dome with the atc5 pipe, trx9 port work (mid - topend), 38mm air striker carb, running stock air box with a K&N filter. completely rebuilt bottom end with new stock hot rods crank new bearings seals, new dirt digger barnett clutch, and ricks 200watt stator. at the moment im running stock 13 39 gearing. the bike doesnt have much on the bottom end but it pulls great on mid and she down right screams on the topend. i love the kit for drag racing and was a very big difference from stock. the suggestion i would make is have a good shop port the cylinder. esr makes very good quality stuff but there port jobs arent that great. i have a feeling a good shop would make this kit even better. my 250r before the build was a .40 over stock cylinder with full fmf exhaust

I have the same specs as post #2. 310 with gas and top end port (trx9). I run the atc5 pipe with the 38 mm carb and esr reed cage setup with no air box. I went from a completely stock setup to the above setup for ice racing. It has way more power and completely rips on top end. The bottom end is a different story, wish I went for the mid range port. Get it in the high rpms and nothing will stop it. Get stuck in low rpms and she will not pull out of a bog. Its a great setup and have had no issues, just make sure you know what range of port you want.

i forgot to mention i also have the esr reed cage and reeds. i think a good costum port could take care of the bottom end and make it scream on topend though
