I cant start my big red. I got out my multimeter and it said 11.11v and its a 12 volt battery. Would this not let me start? or if it would would it be some thing else. When I use the kick started and it the start butten. I hear a buzzing sound coming from what i think is the stater magnetic switch. But when its off i hear nothing. Is this normal? Or if non of this matters any one have any ideas?

"When I use the kick started and it the start butten"

Can you clear that sentence up at all? Are you saying that when you use the kick start it starts and when you use the electric start it doesn't? Or it won't start with either?

Well I am going to take a guess on what you are saying and go with 11.1V should still let the motor turn. Whether the starter motor will spin fast enough to fire the engine, that depends on the condition of the engine and motor. As to the whole kicking thing, you will have to clear that up. Proof read your message and send it through a spell check if you need.

Ok if you DON'T kick start it, but turn it on and hit the start button, what happens? Any clicks? Buzzing noises? What?

Hmm.....try taking off your seat, and putting a screwdriver over the two posts on the solenoid, see if it works then.
