Looked at the '12 pro r 800 rush today, and the '12 pro r 600 eyed em' up GOOD.
All i can see is myself here in a 4-5 months wide open on a frozen lake.

Polaris is terrible! all of them blow up around here! and there all bent up pieces of junk! LMAO! Lets see, last year I raced against a xc 600 with my ZR600 NON APV. kicked the crap out of him, gave him head starts and everything, STILL beat him. every polaris ive ridden is a bogging sack of scrap metal that needs to be crushed. I will race ANY Polaris with my 2000 zr 600 thats close to the same cc. You just CANT kill a zr3. 3880 miles on it, low compression, busted primary spring on drive clutch, still beats those polaris's. I was riding with some friends last year, completely twisted and bent his running boards, one guy completely snapped and twisted his tie rods. Im a die hard Ditch killing rider, ive rolled my sled many times this last year from crazy stunts and I barely bent my handlebars. Let the wars begin:D

Aww why hate on arctic cat. My zr is one of the most reliable toys I have ever owned and it pulls the skis all day long. Haven't found a ditch it couldn't handle or a road it couldn't clear. Only reason I can see to ever upgrade is because the rider forward style is much more appealing for my height. Not gunna bash like you guys, I think polaris and ski-doo also make great sleds and I would consider buying one.

Haha that old 2000 cat will outlast that 2012 pro r 800, the arctic cat ZR has probably the best name for themselves out of any sled, they have 3 generations of design in them, they had the zr1, zr2, and then the zr3 chassy, mines the zr3. Riding a 2000 at age 15 and paying for it myself is pretty good, and I bought that a few years ago. The new Polaris's rip, but they are awful in the reliability sector, and that rush rear suspension? How stupid is that? LMAO looks like a clown designed that. Polaris didnt even have a good mountain sled till a few years ago, the Old M series chassy is still on top of the mountain. Even the old King cat's are pretty amazing up there. Currently i am saving up for an 09+ 153 m1000 sno pro. Do you just ride around here or go out west?

4 stroke sleds are just complete junk, heavy, and not very powerful, they also sound terrible too. The arctic cat 800 2 stroke twin is 160 class HP and the 1100 turbo 4 stroke is only 170 hp:lol::lol:

Just did a topend on my sled, Runs good :). I have the clutches pulled and on the bench to be brought to the mechanic for him to check over. The Spring on my primary clutch is broken, yet it still drove, just ate A LOT of power lol! It was getting to the point where if I was in any deep snow it would just bog down to 5000 rpms, and at that point I just dont ride because I cant get anywhere! We had so much snow last year! It was unbelievable, I cant wait for this winter, especially with a fresh motor and clutches :D!

I'll go brappin on my R's! Even paying $9 per gallon for race fuel for them they are STILL cheaper to run for a day than the sleds! And Tug Hill is much less crowded in wheeler season...

Yes, I'll miss the sleds till I get back into it again..if I get back into it.. But the wheelers are more than filling in the gap.. Longer riding season, nicer weather to ride in, cheaper to run, no BS police exhaust checks, less crowded...

I hope we get snow earlier, like we normally do, last 2 winters have been late, we normally have snow by late November to early December, but last 2 seasons we didnt have anything till late January. Atleast my sled will be fully resfreshed for the winter. Once we finally got a bit of snow we got a lot. 2-3 feet everywhere and till late april, season before that was like 1 foot for 2 weeks then spring....

I have a 05 firecat 500 will keep up with my friends 2012 mxz 600 carb with ease. I gotta say ive never been a fan of polaris seems like everything they build is built cheaply. Even though sled wise i bleed arctic cat, they definitely have went down hill since this last chassis/bodystyle came out.
