ive got my 83 200e's electric starter fixed and have a wirning harness for it but sure enough a 84 harness came with it.
it has a relay inhibiter in the harness while the 83 harness does not.
can i cut the red/green wire to the inhibiter and route it to my starter button (which just grounds out and gives the starter power)?
i tried running a wire and it does work
question is can/should i do this or should i go find a correct 83 wiring harness?
im tired of pullstarting!!!!
but i dont want to fry the system, i have no idea what the inhibeter does.
