When I was a young boy my dad told me that there were two kinds of mechanics in the world. Oil mechanics, they think they can fix anything by oiling it. The other is the hammer mechanic....................need I say more. :D

I collect hammers. I use them everyday. I get paid to beat on other peoples cars with hammers.

Im not trying to swipe anything from him haha. I will even paypal to find out since I want inverts, but really shouldn't pay $500 for a custom set. My wife would kill me

Are they from a shadow or another model with a wider front? After digging a little, Looks almost exactly like late 90's valkyrie triples

nope!!! they are vtx 1800 Honda.. you have to be careful though. tops are usually always good, but I have bought a couple of sets that the bottom was twisted from a crash and the seller never mentioned it,,,

I have never seen these in person beside the Bent set you showed me at your shop. Do you see any reason that 2 tops couldn't be used? Obviously one would have to be bored to accept the stem.

KASEY
08-21-2013, 11:54 PM
that's a good question.. I will throw a couple of tops together and see if it would work,, only thing is the bottom is a few mm's larger ,, so you would have to bore one of the tops to be a bottom...
wrecks usually bend the bottom one,,, funny there is 10 tops on ebay right now!

I AM NOT SURE,, the trike goes to the dunes this weekend to see if the swinger is long enough for my tastes,, graphics are being worked on,. dune picts soon,,,,
the thing slides very controllable it jumps fantastic , the suspension is very nice .. I went with a + 4 to derrick adams stock length,, and on a moto-x track it still was awesome so its hard to say,,

Kasey, I gotta say thats one of my favorites on the board. I'm more of a Honda guy but the reliability of their 450 scares me away. This is about the ultimate 3-wheeler in my opinion.
Another I'd like to see is a 400ex conversion of this caliber, maybe one with reverse too.
Great job.
