Verizon network

Samsung S3

I have no clue how to use anything besides making calls or sending texts.

How do I get "APPS" and how do I know if they are free??

I'll warn anyone, I had a Casio Brigade that was built like a tank. Never lost a call.

This phone has dropped a few and doesn't always work in my house so it must have an antenna issue. I'm gonna go back to Verizon and ask WTF is up.

Thanks for any help on the APPS!!

Google Play Store is what its called now... Go there, browse or search apps, they will show Free or the price on each one of the results listed.

The S3 like all newer smartphones has a so-so antenna range. I call them a five mile phone. Beyond that from the tower you really gotta do the can your hear me now routine.

The 3wheeler world app is awesome once you figure out how to navigate it.

Yep what they said^^^ google play store has all the apps, music, movies, and of course games. You'll probably have to sign up with gmail, but you probably already did when you got your phone.

For some reason the 3WW app hasnt been working for me, says there was a connection error when i try to login.

I recommend SwiftKey keyboard over the stock keyboard.
And get an overpriced protector case to match your overpriced phone.

For the geeks out there... I'm running a Motorola Atrix HD - Rooted, Unlocked and running Straight Talk 4G.

Im about to smash this POS.

It wants me to open my "shopping bag" I did so. Brought my phone to DA448 that wants a password. I have not entered one and when I try it does not work.

WHY is this harder than rebuilding a 350X motor??

Is yours android operating sys.? Or did u get iPhone? Droid should be fairly easy to set up. Let us know, happy to help you, and I'm no techie! Lol

Ironically AT and T has poor service here; Go figure.......

Its a droid, The white shopping bag sends me to "Wi Fi" which is where it wants a password.

I think they should be called "stupid phones"

Depends on the area more then the phone up here in the Midwest. The tower saturation isn't like it is in some places in the US. I have a tower on the edge of town thankfully, but once i leave town the next tower is seven miles or twelve miles.

Go to settings... turn off WiFi...and make sure your mobile internet is on. See how that works for ya. You can use wifi if u have a router at home and use the cell tower ( mobile) regularly or daily when trailprotrailpro not home, depending on your signals and where u live.

I did both you suggested and it "cannot connect to Google"

This phone will be lucky to see day light as I've already chucked it into my front door.

Its kinda funny because Verizon is a no no here. My dad has Verizon and he's lucky to get 1 bar :). I'm not sure how good the s3 is but IMO I hate any kind of android powered devices. I had a android phone before and I Hated it! It felt so cheap and plastic and it also seems that their are alot more apps in the App Store than the google store. But then again that's just me I know alot of people will have different opinions. Can't wait for my upgrade to go up in sept I'm getting the iphone 5!

Almost sounds like it is your bad signal not letting you connect. Mine will do that sometimes b/c of crappy signal at home. See if you can pick up another bar around your house, then try reconnecting. :wondering
