I just bought a honda 3 wheeler from a guy who obviously didnt know anything about it. The frame sticker is gone. The trike has disc brakes...how can I determine if it's a two stroke R model or if its a four stoke X model? I dont know what year model...

just by the sound you would be able to tell if its a 2 stroke or 4 stroke .... does it have a big exhaust pig coming out of the head or is it just skinny??? also you know how many cc's it is??

The guy I bought the trike from said that its a 250...the exhaust is skinny where it comes out from the head...do all 2 strokes have the fat exhaust?

you can tell by the head_
2 stroke air fins along top of head about 1.5 inches deep
4 stroke no air fins onhead but there are 2 nut caps on top

what side of the trike is the chain on (when sitting on it)
200x 350x left side
older(81-84) 250r chain is on the right side (not sure about 85 86 250r)

Is it white or red? Does it have a large head or small head? 2 exhaust ports? red or blue shock? does the seat cover say anything? somewhere on the Jug it should have the cc's of your bike, and that would help to know if it really is a 250. Is the front disc brake ont he left or right?

I ment the color of the rear shock (spring). Is the engine red or black? so far sounds like a 200x to me.

It would have to be a 200x, if it has a disc brake on the front, unless it is a 250sx conversion. I got a good one that should tell us what it is, is it manual clutch, or auto clutch, I.E., on the left handgrip, is there a lever that is used when shifting gears, or does the lever operate the rear brakes?

does it have radiator/s maybe 85 86 250r
still don't know what side the chian is on on those

has to be a 2 stroker with fins on top of the head right?

I'm sure it's a 200X.... I think the R's had the brake on the left like the 350X's. The 200X had it on the right like he said this one does.
