Did some experimentation and came up with a pretty match for that silver, at least to my eyes and for small scratches and such...rust oleum scratch and chip repair, p2 Chrysler bright silver, CH 40010. It did the trick on my 85BR. You guys might check it out

OK, I will take some this week, I need to go through some of my pics and see if I have some worthy before pics for a reference. Also, for small chips and scratches, the rustoleum Sunrise red rattle can from walmart works well too on the gas tank. I was pretty surprised. I sprayed some in a glass jar and used a very fine little brush and filled in some small spots here and there on the gas tank and forks. Really does well on the forks. I didn't want to sand with this, so if you guys see that the little spots are a bit lumpy rest assured I know this and am only trying to cover up the bare metal areas at this point and look good from 5-10 feet lol. I am saving that kind of work for when I am ready for a full resto of the gas tank and forks with the proper passion red that I have seen listed around here. My BR is in really great shape, so its just not time for the full tear down and such. I also used the universal black in the same type of bottle the silver I reference earlier came in (rustoleum) and that worked well on the frame chips. It especially covers up those areas around the welding spots that chip easily. Anyway, I will snap some pics and come back here in a couple of days when I get back to my house and can get some proper pics.
