I have an old 250 Arctit Cat Jag race sled. It's a little rough looking but it runs well. The pictures are to big to post. If you would like to size them down a little and post them I'd appreciate it. I rode it a lot today we finally got some snow.

That's a pretty cool sled. You don't often see the oldies in good shape like that. I have no clue what motor I have in my sled, it does have serial numbers, so if you know how to decode them or know a web site that would I'd appreciate it. I couldn't believe how light it is, 2 guys carried it 100 yards, the track it has on it, and the clutch. The clutch engages at about 4,500 RPM, and it goes pretty good for an old sled.

Very nice old Merc. Have you ever ridden a liquid Snow-Twister?? They were super quick, but the Trail's were snappy to!! I have to inquire of my wife to help me with my pics here, these were taken before digital cameras. I will attempt to scan a few photos of my late 1976 Yamaha SRX440RX racer. This sled was as near to perfect as one could find. The original purchasers owned and operated one of the largest Chevy dealerships in Michigan at one time. This sled was purchased and modified for their sponsored drag race team back in the 70's. It had all the stock tricked out parts to go in circles, but it always went in a straight line!! Factory turned down bar, aluminum ski's, factory widened, aluminum skid with slid lubers, etc. I took it to a few vintage snowmobile shows here in Michigan, it always grabbbed lots of attention. I was stupid and ended up selling it way to cheap back in my school days before I really figured out how to set it up right.
