Guitars? I am hardcore guitarist, and i am finally gettin really good (well, thats what people tell me) right now, my guitar is like a 1995 Washburn Lyon 6 string, its pretty much a Fender Stratocaster style guitar, i like it, plays decsent, needs a fret job and i would like new pick ups cuz my single coils suck. The past 2 years I have wanted to build a custom guitar, I had some alright designs drawn up, but then for christmas I got a guitar magazine, and the 4th or 5th page in, had Jackson Guitars, but, the old ones, the ones that Randy Rhoades used! his R5 was the biggest one for picture wise, it was nice i never seen it before, so i decided that I am definetly going to build a guitar, then sell off my washburn, and buy a bigger amp, my little 25 watt Yamaha amp aint too loud!! haha.

So, if anyone has built a guitar, or know of someone that has, let me know, just some info, maybe pictures, i got some info on building guitars, including wiring schematics.

That is not the guitar I am talking about, but same shape, only this one is all white, black pin stripes and gold pick gaurd, knobs and bridge, it looks pretty nice, well, to me it does.

Well, started building it, right now, its couple peices of wood put together with glue and held on by clamps, i am building the body at my neighbours wood working shop,then afterwards, if he thinks i am good enough to work there, he might give me a job (i been houndin him for a while bout a job there) and its got tons of pencil marks on it, to get it lined up, then i gotta plane it down to right thickness, then trace my pattern onto the wood, then i just take it home, i am going to cut it out at home, or if he will let me, cut it out there, then just take it home, i phoned my buddy at guitar store askin bout a generic 6 string neck with 22 jumbo frets, with the amount of money i have to pay JUST for the neck, i could buy an entire guitar!!!!!! shock shock shock shock 225 bucks starting price YEA RIGHT just a royal kick in the stones, from what my friend told me, only bout 75 100 bucks, oh well, it will be well worth it in the end

I havent, but one of my ex bass players made a bass guitar.... lol That thing was heavy as hell, and worked good when drunks would crawl up on stage!!! hehe He would start swinging that monster and they would back down fast :shock:
