Just like the title says, does anyone have any idea what this light marked with the W is for?

This bike does not have turn signals and never did. No switch for them either. This light seems to be in the same place as a newer bike would have the turn signal indicator though.

I would like to think I know a bit about bikes, but this has me stumped. Can you post a pic of the entire bike? I never saw any Honda SL/XL models that were not originally equipped with turn signals (which is by no means proof that they did not exist), down to and including the SL70. :wondering:wondering:wondering

I don't think many SLs had turn signals. Turn signals were not a law until around 1973 or so.
Here's the controls. Horn on left, headlight off, low, high on right. No turn signals.

Now you really have me wondering. Point taken on the turnsignal requirement. What year is the bike? Nice old Honda, BTW!

Thanks, its a 1972. Everything works as it did new, well I'm not sure if that "W" light works or not. Lol
