Yea, I'm a Maina.......lately I have gotten my hands on a Kawi (Kawasaki). An old one for that matter, BUT, it runs, sort of........
I have had to do ALOT of work to this ATC, and there is still plenty to do, but for now I have a question about the periodic engine death that occurs at the most inopportune times.
I have been a wrench just about all my life, working on anything that needed fixing. through out my life I have gained a lot of know-how, and 'work-arounds' that have seemed to make things/vehicles last just a little longer (if not many years) in their service life. I have never been one to abuse, break-on-purpose, blow-up, do endless senseless shenanigans on any vehicle I have ever owned. I do like to bring old vehicles back to life, and finding the 'work-around' if an OEM part is no longer available, I also relish finding an inexpensive be it more common part that will do the same job that the OEM was intended to do. I take great satisfaction in sticking it to "The Man" whenever I can cut a repair bill down to a more reasonable expense, when a customer asks me for help.
Please feel free to chat with me, I am a friendly sort, and am willing to learn anything.
