ok ive got a buddy with a 2001 polaris scrambler 500 2x4. it has been giving us alot of running issues. we took it apart last night and found a vent tube that runs from the bottom of the crank case to the air box. as we were turning it over this vent hose started spraying full out. has anyone seen this before? the tube looks like a crank case vent so where would fuel be coming from in the first place??????

sounds like it trans vent and it is pressurizing from compression of cylinder cause there is leak. The vent tube goes to air box to be sucked in by carb cause it is EPA emission control rule. I've seen it on boat motors and all over the place on all kinds of motors.

There could be just some kind of internal clogged passage (oil pump) or something. Something is pressurizing the trans.
