My chain fell off my 83 200m honda, I got it back on but is there a way to tighten it or stop it from coming off again?

If I'm looking at the diagram correctly there should be a bolt to adjust the carrier to take up the slack. It would be part number three if I got the right model Honda. I haven't worked on one of these yet but it looks simple.

Hi, I had the same machine just a year newer. Same thing happened to me.. i was so confused.. wondering why it always fell off(i was new to trikes) until my uncle showed me the chain adjuster. If your looking at the wheeler from the back, look for the part where the axle runs through. http://www.ebay.com/itm/REAR-AXLE-CARRIER-REAREND-BRAKE-200E-200-200M-185-ATC-HONDA-3-WHEELER-ATV-/321214455742?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ac9df9fbe&vxp=mtr
This part if your unsure of what i'm talking about. Anyways look for the 4 bolts, there pretty big, like 3/4 or something like that. Then there should be to things threaded rods with nuts on them?? I haven't used one in awhile but this should be enough to help you. Just keep feeling the chain as you tighten it. Then tighten those 4 bolts up.
Also don't overtighten, you want a little slack. I believe theres a hole in the chain guard, a circular rubber piece. Take that out and I think you're supposed to see the chain for it to be the right tightness.
Someone correct me if i'm wrong as I haven't used a 200m in a year.
Hope this helps!
