Finally!! I'm in dual sport bliss!!

had my eye out for a large displacement dual sport, prefferably Honda since I off loaded my mint 84XL200 in the spring! This one popped up this weekend half hour from me and I couldnt pass!! It's a very clean 08 with low miles, and not a scuff on the plastic!
it has a ST slip on w/ emissions removed, and jet kit installed! Sounds knarly! Probably give it a tune up as it has been sitting about a year! has new tires, but they are not a DOT tire, so we will see if It needs some new shoes for an inspection!
I gave 2800.00 for it, and think I did well, as I have seen these going for a few thousand more!! Gonna hit up DMV tomorow, try to enjoy the fall season on it!

cost me 143.00 out the door at dmv. reg/tax/title all the good stuff. insured for limited liability! ready to ride!! Waiting on an oil filter, then i will stretch it out, and see if the carb needs any tuning. pipe clamps need to be snugged up, and one bolt rattled out of the ST. anyone got any recomendations for tires?? like a 60/40 street dirt. Its got bridgestone motocross d604 on it which i wouldnt imagine is very good on the pavement!

Excellent score!! My brother (ATCTim) has the same bike. I steal it from him for a month every year. The motor is indestuctible - speaking of.... I think it uses the same oil filter as 86-87 125M.... (I think!) You will grow to absolutely love it - if you don't already. You will also get a lot of questions and comments from people everywhere you ride it. Congrats to you.
