Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say what's up. I have been haunting these threads for years now but never bothered to sign up. I had a junk 250sx years ago that I got rid of because I couldn't afford to replace enough parts to get it running decently. I've also had a couple different 110's over the years. My current 110 is a 1984 that I picked up about 2 years ago, is in decent shape and mostly used to run the kids around on. The reason I finally decided to sign up is because of my recent purchase. I have been looking for a nice 250sx for several years but they're extremely hard to find in Ohio. The majority of them have been wrecked, stored outside or ridden in the snow and salt and never cleaned so they're beat and rusted. Yesterday, I finally found a 1985 and I am absolutely thrilled about it. It is extremely clean, and runs like brand new. Everything is original including the tires with the exception of the handlebars. It has one small dent in the left side of the gas tank but the plastics are still shiny! Someone obviously loved the thing enough to take care of it and did not put many miles on it as the original tires still have most of their tread. The only problem is, I don't know if I will be able to make myself take the thing in the mud. It will probably end up being used to pull a trailer around the yard and easy trail rides. Nice to meet you all!
