So my new to me 3 week old 1985 P3 that was running or at least seemed to be running fine to me, won't start. I was on the road for a week for work and pulled it out to use it this past weekend and I could not get it started. Didn't even pop..... I pull start mine (needs a starter & a battery) and it usually started 2nd pull. Now i've got raw gas pouring out of what seems to be the exhaust pipe behind the heat shield. I've pulled the plug....wet of course, but not fouled and the gap is good. Thoughts, question, suggestions, ideas?? My next thought was the coil but maybe I'm jumping the gun.:Bounce
THX!

P-3's have a tendency to not start if even a thimble full off fuel gets inside the crank case.
The front engine skid plate has a acess hole to remove the 10mm headed bolt/plug to drain the crank case. that bolt is like the lowest area on the bottom of motor.
I got into the habit of shutting my fuel off darn near anytime the trike was not running.

Well the PO snapped off the head to the bolt/plug.....looks like i have to do some surgery. What's left was wet with gas though. I say PO because the aluminum is still shiny with no oxidation. too bad i didn't know that before i handed the money over....would have used that to talk him down some more....
