For most women, a new pair of shoes or a cute blouse makes them giddy. Makes them all happy and sh!t but what makes us men happy? A good beer? Perhaps getting behind the wheel of a really nice car? OH HELL NO!!!!! This is what makes me happy. This little gem popped up on Ebay the other day and it graced my mailbox today. Look at it!!!!!!! LOOK AT IT!!!!! It looks like it just came from the manufacture. Its shows virtually no wear at all. OMG!!!!!! Christmas in October!!!! I'm all warm and sh!t inside. What makes you feel are warm and sh!t inside?

Scoring supposed new take off rear fender for a trike you have that is not reproduced by anyone (KLT110). Dirty but solid, hopefully will clean up with few if any scratches. On it's way from Cali to PA:D

Lol, If only we could be glued to Ebay 24/7,or have a super snipe program. But alas,,work needs to get done.. I was on here a cpl of Saturdays ago. Opened up ebay. And newly listed like 7 minutes ago was a " 250r gas tank" I saw it was black. Opened it up,it was a shorttrack kit complete minus tree. $279 obo free shipping. I offered him $249,and it was here Tuesday :) That will never happen again! I am absolutely shamed to admit how many hours I have combed 250R gas tanks over the years looking for that shorttrack tank the guy didn't now what he had. It has never happened yet. Guess this was my payoff! I'll take it! THAT made me giddy.lol. That is one clean driveshaft! The pinion seal barely has a groove started..

Leave it to the Ether Bunny to get all excited over a SHAFT. Thought that Job Downsizing would had been enough SHAFT.
We lost half our work force last month to "DOWNSIZING"
Now isn't it an insult to know that you got the " DOWNSIZED SHAFT". LOL LOL
Sorry Captain for the HIJACK!!
Hope all is well!

Holy crap 90guy!!! 36 bucks for a Bandito frame is garage sale find kind of a price. I'd be giddy too!!!
Hi Tony. always good to hear from you. Corporate downsizing has become all to familiar. Take a substantial pay cut to keep your job. Aren't we supposed to progress UP the ladder rather than down? I worked for ARINC Aerospace. They did the same thing to my wife back in 11. She opted to take the severance because her Dad needed full time care by then so she stepped up and assumed that roll. He finally died in Feb and a week from tomorrow she starts with Northrup Grumman making more money than she did at ARINC...YAYYYYYY!!!!!
Me, I'M ON VACATION. It's funny, for almost 15 years I had an undefined job. I did whatever people needed me to and took care of the warehouse and facility making a pretty decent salary doing that. I knew I couldn't ride that wave too much longer. Management is so screwed up. That company did this very thing to many people so it was time to go. I would have been more than happy driving my CAT power chair around the warehouse pushing pallets but it seemed whenever I was told to do something, I would get beat up for doing so by someone else because nobody communicated. I was asked several months ago to write out a list of everything I did past and present. The short list was 4 pages long but the real list was over 10 pages long. Now, there is nobody to do what I did. Who's gonna suffer now? Not me that's for sure. I did all the work nobody wanted to do or had responsibility for. I was the gopher but I did enjoy the work. Their loss!!!! My resume is in with Boeing for a Facilities Planner job and my resume is also making its way through the managers network at Northrup Grumman. The irony to this is Northrup Grumman is leasing the 2nd floor of the ARINC building I worked in. At our peak, we were 350 strong, now, about 20. Northrup Grumman is in a set of buildings around the corner from ARINC and they are busting at the seams so they are leasing part of the ARINC building. Wouldn't it be funny if Northrup hired me as a facilities guy for the very building I just left? Northrup intends on taking over the entire building in 15. The ARINC lease expires in 17 but they want out of the lease as soon as they can. I can totally see that happening. We'll see but for now, I am totally enjoying the time off. I have my severance parked and with my wife going back to work next week so I am good to go. Eventually I'll go back to work and with whom remains to be seen but for now.... I'm on vacation.

Truth is I had to stop cruising for a while..Ebay, CL, Kijiji, Rocky Mountain, Royal Distributing all of it! Cold turkey!!!
With as many machines as I have I was constantly in "need" of something..then I looked at my CC statement one month..WOW! I didn't remember making that many purchases..I looked closer and lots were for photography items (my wife is a photographer). She does our books and seeing all these CC charges of mine, she figured it was green light to do some buying of her own.
Smart lady, don't bltch about it..join in!!
Anyway between the two of us..the CC was taking a beating! So we called a truce for a few months to let it recover!!
Good score Jim, glad you saw it and not me!!
PS. Sledding season is just around the corner though!! HeHe!
(Hope the NG thing works out for you Jim..Good luck)

Ya I get it Doug. Since I'm on vacation I have to stay off Ebay...somewhat!!!! Its just too damn easy to click click buy this, buy that. My R needs some love but it will have to wait till I get my project CC paid off although that propeller shaft I couldn't pass up. Its installed and if my SX was a cat, it would be purring. I have NO trouble finding stuff to buy on Ebay.
