Aluminum fork caps intrest? 85-86r 85-86z 39mm forks

HEY GUYS I have been doing some checking for some of these fork caps and they are exstinked.....good news:Bounce I am working with my aluminum guy and he is interested in helping us out, he said the cost looks like it would be 35.00 shipped in the us per pair....these will fit the 85-86 250r and the 851/2-86 tri z 250 with 39mm forks...this is a feeler to see if I can get 12 pairs so he can make the first run P.M. me if you want a set

Are they going to be exact copies of Ronnie's billet caps? Maybe change em up a little bit. I have a set of Ronnie's caps on my tri-z. I would definitely like a few more sets too.

They are ? Are you taking about the plastic ones the cover the schraeder valve? Or are you talking about the valve itself?

they will screw on the top valve..and they will be smooth not nurled

Are you making 2 different sizes?

85-86 R and 86 Z all will fit.

85 Z has smaller diameter forks and the 86 caps will be to large. However if you make them for the 85 Z forks they will fit the 350X also. That will open up more market for you also.

Ill take a set for my 86 too if ya'll decide to make both sizes. I lost a hub cap on my last ride too, ask him If he'd reproduce those too.

Come to think of it my stator cover rattled loose also, lol im loosing all my bling!

this run will only be for the 39mm forks 85 1/2 and 86z and the 85 and 86 250r...they will be smooth. as far as other sizes go 350x,85z 35mm and tecate I will be working with him to get them available just let me know,hope this help

Jay, would it be of help to send you the set of Yamahondamans caps that are on my 84/85 Tecate. I have another set in my show case that look terrible due to the lack of care when they was store. Not sure what those fit but you are welcome to examine/test fit them to trikes and also have for you machinist to take measurements from.
Of course I would want them back please. I don't need anything in return, just my caps back.

Thats a tricky program to make those puppys; I think Ronnie would love to see his products or similar live on.
