few weeks ago my trike locked up when low on oil. pushed it home oiled it up and she started, now since then sometimes wen starting off the elec start it acts asif battery is low and clicks(no damage to starter though). so i thought maybee bent conrod or nakered rings. yet when she was running after this incident she ran sweet as without any smoke. so anyway swapped engines over(i have 4). stripped the engine and found this

Your side to side is fine. You can have zero up and down. Can't tell from they. But straight up and down you have got to be perfectly tight. That piston has starved for oil : ((

your bottom end is most likley ok, uness you pull the oil drain screen and see lots of shavings in there, then time for a bottom end rebuild. you will need to get qa wiseco piston of the largest size so you can bore/home past the daamged cylinder walls and reuse it. i recommend the 10.25:1 piston. you cna run stock everything with it.
