I picked up an all original 1982 185s last Tuesday , lost a piston shortly after it was purchased new , has sat in a garage for 31 or so years , I installed a new piston and she fired up on the first pull , original tires still have the tits on them  .

How about a trifecta find?? Michigan seller last spring listed on CL, he was leaving the state and needed to get rid of his toys. I showed up to look at two he had listed and when I got there he had four in the yard..I only had room for three on my trailer so I took the best three!

They were barn stored for most of their life. Really clean machines all of them..ES needed tires, all needed batteries and fuel system cleanups.

At $1800 for the three machines a definite find of a lifetime!!

Found mine at my buddy's cousin's place. 1985 ATC350X. Was sitting on the back of an old flatbed truck in a field. Got it with a 87 200x chassis for $225. That's after calling the guy who "owned" it, and I wheeled and dealed with him. This is what she looked like when I got her home, and had to cut the engine out.

Then a couple months later, I came across this on ebay an hour and a half from me. For $100!

Everything is apart and being worked on (slowly). lol. But it will be worth it in the end:)

nice find 6speedthumper, I would love to find something like that one day. Its good to see something like that fall into the right hands, theres a lot of people out there
would look at that 350x as a pile of junk and throw it away or something ridiculous. You know what they say, "one mans junk is another's treasure"

Answered a kijiji add and picked this up for $350. The guy took it in as payment for money owed from some deal years ago. He never touched it after that. It cleaned up nicely.

Thanks. I'm glad I found the roller. I wanted an X for years, and finding the engine (locked up and rusted) in the rusted frame was the start of the dream come true. lol. I was going to abandon the project once I figured how much I'd be putting into a 300ex conversion. Then, I found that 86 roller, and it was on!

179444179445179446179447179448You guys are finding really legit barn finds i feel bad posting what I got, owner had these stored in his shop and had not been ridden for years. Red 88 had brand new OEM red plastic, all polished but needed some oem parts. White one was all complete just changed a few things and both ran very good for first time after being in a shop for many years

1984 ATC 200X Hasn't run since 1990, probably won't be running for at least a few more years. I need the money and know how. Right now, I have neither. Sentimental value, though. So I'll never sell it.

Hell, Jaymes, if you were closer, I'd get the dam thing running for you, just so she doesn't sit any longer!
