help identifying front hub.

I need some help identifying 2 front hub's....They both where on 2 200x's,one I think is a 250r,( gold hub and rim). I think-hope the black one's are 83 200x.. Thanks. 179324179323

Thanks! I was 98% sure that the black one was a 200x and the gold is a 250r, but I wasn't 100% sure...........now would it be better if I use the 250r on the 200x? I'm doing a auto x now,thanks.

If youre using the stock 200x forks, use the 200x hub, if youre using the 250r forks, use the 250r hub. The brakes are mounted on different sides.

ok thanks. They had them both on (like 200x) and they seems to be ok but not sure if it's the 250r fork's...I'm just going to use what I know thanks..

The gold hub is 85-86 250r they are different than the 83-84 250r front hub.The 83-84 250r hub is the same as 83-85 200x just gold color.The 85-86 250r hub has a smaller bolt pattern and will be offset to one side on the 200x.The rim in your pic with the black 200x hub looks to be 85-86 250r.

PM Eric (trizilla) on here. He has some 200x parts for sale and an exhaust was one of the things he has for sale. He may also be looking for a 85-86 250r front hub. and he is in PA.

black 200x hub on 3rd gen 250R wheel. gold 83-84 250R hub is it does not fit in the wheel. if the gold hub fits in the front wheel you have shown then its 85-86 250r front hub

83-87 200x front hub is the same as 83-84 250R hub. just color is different.

when it was mounted like a 200x right side disk,It looked ok like it was in the middle. idk.

i had a type-o 83-85 200x not 86-87 250r. 86-87 200x will look like this with the tabs.

it should or just bend up and weld whatever shifter you got laying around.

Thanks. that's true I might end up doing that..I would rather get one like the first one with the folding tip. This 200x one I have wont fit over the pull starter,even know it came with it lol. also the goki was on it then. idk. thanks.

Also I don't have my good welder at home now....I'll use my 1987 one if I end up doing that....87 good year, :naughty: lt500r,atc.
