'83 or '84 KLT 250 ???

[KLT 250]

I have a chance to get either a '83 or '84 Kawasaki KLT 250 on a trade. What are these things worth now a days? And if you can by chance tell me the year or where i can look to find it. I haven't seen it up close, pictures make it look good. Guy says it has 423miles on it and he has the factory owners manual. Had a new starter, new battery, and just changed the oil. Any info you can give me on these i'd appreciate. I've been doing as much reading as i can. But i've been out of the 3 wheeler loop for awhile now. Thanks!
