3 wheeler race @ glen helen raceway calvmx nov 3rd

ok so this race is the (actual) last race of the season. At the race on Oct 20, Frank Vrettas from CALVMX announced that the three wheeler classes have been invited to race with CALVMX's program at their last stop of 2013, Glen Helen Raceway.

this is LEGENDARY turf ladies and gents. this is a mainstream facility. No indian reservation land here! this is the first time in almost 30 years that three wheelers have been given permission to run at this facility. you do not want to miss this!


racing will be structured like the last rounds we've been in

gates open at 630AM

races will be held on the REM (vintage) track

A word to the 3 wheeler riders that are attending the Glen helen race. Pit rules are strict there and helmets on at all times if your on a moving cycle of any kind. This place is not as laid back as The Ranch or Cahuilla. If your pit bike riding and have a beer going, make sure its in a cup and not visable while your puttin around.

We dont want a bad name the 1st time there and we surly dont want to be an embarrassment to Calvmx.

Another great showing for a trike race. Thanks to CALVMX for making it all possible. Congrats to Tom, Jeremy, Larry, Paul, and other class winners that I'm probably forgetting. You guys all rode amazing races on a track that was far from ideal for our trikes. A BIG hand of applause to everyone for riding safely on a track that was hard to race fast & stay safe. Safety is the key to our success & you guys are ALL understand that & work hard together as a team to keep us all safe. As I was driving home from the track yesterday I was feeling so lucky to be able to race with such a special group of men who are always looking out for the safety of fellow trike racers. I feel priviledged and honored to get to know you all & even more honored to be able to race with you all. THANKS TO ALL!

This is Kathy Wood last weekend at Glen Helen being carried off the track by fellow racer Carey McIntyre after Kathy crashed and broke her leg. Kathy is part of the sidecar team that we race with. In this particular race, Kathy was racing her vintage dirtbike before she raced on the sidecar with her husband Mark in our race. These two are the sweetest (craziest) couple Ive met through CALVMX.
