I think i may have found a suitable parts bike! finally not that i need any parts just yet. but this stuff is old and is getting expensive!

i offered 200 and my old praxair speed lense. even if it doesnt run i think its worth 200 and a helmet in good shape that i dont like!

That's cheap enough that you couldn't go wrong using it as a parts bike. It's also complete enough that you could fix it up into a good rider. Either way it's money well invested. Good luck on getting it before someone else jumps on it.

yeah i spoke to the guy last night and made my offer and he accepted. i'm off monday and so is he so hopefully he doesnt sell it between now and then i've seen it on CL a few times before. he says it runs fine but it sounds like that one-way bearing for the kick starter is catching so maybe if im lucky i will have two good parts motors and a spare final drive as far as im concerned the two most expensive parts to replace!
